How the Sulitista blog works: every limit and feature, explained
A blog post on Sulitista is a page of your own, under your store's name, that stays up as long as your store does. This guide explains every part of it: who can write, where to click, and each limit, with the reason behind it. The guide follows its own rules, so it can also serve as an example.
Who can write, and where posts show
Writing posts is part of the Suki Boss plan. Your posts show in three places:
- Your store's blog, at the address of your store followed by /blog.
- Each post's own page, with your logo, your store name, the date and the reading time.
- The Sulitista blog at sulitista.com/blog, once the post is published, as long as your store is public.
The author is always your store, never a personal name.
Writing a post
Open your dashboard, then Tools > Blog. The Blog screen has a numbers card, a Sidebar card and the list of your posts. Press New post, and the post opens on its own page in edit mode, so you write it where it will appear. Nothing is saved until you press Save in the bar at the bottom. If you open a new post and never save it, Sulitista clears it after 7 days.
To change an old post, press Edit on its row. The edit view shows the page as readers see it. The sidebar is shown muted, because it is set on the Blog screen, not inside the post.
Title, cover photo and length
- Title: 2 to 120 characters.
- Cover photo: optional. It shows at the top of the post and when the post is shared. It has no caption.
- Text: at least 200 characters to go live, and up to 10,000 in total.
A photo or a video counts as 500 characters each toward the 10,000, which also limits how many a post can hold. They do not count toward the 200 minimum, because that number is about writing. The editor shows a counter, so you do not need to guess.
Formatting
The editor has bold, italic, underline, strikethrough, bulleted and numbered lists, quotes, links and two levels of headings, like the ones in this guide. There is also a button to view or edit the HTML source.
Pictures cannot be pasted into a post. Use the Photo button, so every photo comes from your own Photo library.
Pasted ad code, iframes and images from other websites are not allowed, and the editor drops them when you save.
Photos

Add photos with the Photo button. Each photo has three choices:
- Size: small, medium or large. Large fills the width of the text and is the default.
- Alignment: left, centre or right. Left and right work for small and medium photos, with the text beside them.
- Caption: up to 150 characters of plain text, with no web addresses. It does not count toward the 10,000 characters.
On a phone every photo is full width and centred, so a post always reads well on a small screen.
Descriptions for screen readers
A short description, up to 125 characters, helps people who use screen readers and also helps your post in search. Write it once in Tools > Photo library, and every post that uses the photo shows it. If one post needs different words, add a description for that photo in the post itself.
Videos
Paste a link from YouTube or Vimeo, and the video shows as a play box. Facebook videos are not supported, because their player fails for many videos with no way to tell.
Links
- A post can have up to 20 links.
- Every link is marked as sponsored for search engines, automatically.
- If a link earns you money, tick "This post has affiliate or paid links". Readers then see a short note at the top.
- Every link is checked against Google's Safe Browsing list when you save. One unsafe link stops the whole save, and the message names it.
- The link is checked again when a reader clicks. If it turned bad, the post goes back to Draft until you fix it. Nothing is deleted.
Keep each post about something you really know. Google's own advice on helpful content is worth reading once.
Categories
A post can be in up to two categories. The Main category shows on the post's card. The optional Also in category is a second label. The two must be different.
- Default categories are Sulitista's own list, and they also put your post on the Sulitista blog's category pages. They make it easier for new readers to find your post.
- Custom categories are names you make up. They show only on your blog. A custom name is 2 to 30 characters and up to 3 words. A store can have up to 5, and one goes away when no post uses it.
A custom name cannot use "Sulitista", "Verified", "Legit" or "Authentic", and it cannot look like a web address, email or phone number. Readers can open a category label to see only that kind of post on your blog.
The sidebar, views and search
On a wide screen, each post has a sidebar with two blocks. On the Blog screen's Sidebar card you choose what each block shows. The posts block can show Latest posts or Popular posts. The products block can show New products or Popular products. Either block can be set to Don't show. On a phone the sidebar moves under the post.
Popular means most viewed. A view is counted once per visitor per day, and only for visitors who are not signed in, so your own visits never raise it. The number shows as a small eye badge on the post and on its card, once it is above zero. If nothing has been viewed yet, Popular shows the newest and says so.
Your blog page has a search box, which searches only your posts, and a category filter.
Draft, Published or Scheduled
- Draft: not public. Only you can see it. Drafts are free.
- Published: public when you press Save. It also shows on the Sulitista blog.
- Scheduled: goes live on the day and time you pick, in Philippine time.
You cannot pick a time in the past, and you cannot schedule a post past the day your plan is paid until. To take a live post down, use Unpublish. It goes back to a Draft, and nothing is deleted.
The posting limit
You can bring up to 30 posts live in each billing period. A period is one month, counted from the day your store became Suki Boss, and a renewal keeps it.
- A post uses one of the 30 the first time it is Published or Scheduled. A scheduled post uses one in the period of its go-live day.
- Editing, unpublishing and publishing the same post again cost nothing.
- Moving a post to the Trash does not give the slot back.
The Blog screen shows how many you have used and how many are left.
The Trash
Deleting a post moves it to the Trash, where you can restore it. A post cannot be deleted for good by the store, so a mistake never loses your writing. The photos it used are kept in your Photo library until nothing uses them any more.
If something changes
- Your plan ends: posts that are already published stay up, and nothing is deleted. Scheduled posts go back to Draft and return to their day when your plan does. You can still Unpublish a post, or Publish one that was live before, but you cannot write or edit until Suki Boss returns.
- Your store is under review: new posts and restores are paused until the review ends.
- Your store goes offline: its blog posts go offline with it and return when the store does.
- You get a refund: posts published since that payment move back to Draft.
A short checklist to keep
- Title 2 to 120 characters. Text 200 to 10,000.
- Each photo or video costs 500. Captions: 150 at most.
- Photos from your library. Videos from YouTube or Vimeo.
- Up to 20 links, all checked, all marked sponsored.
- Tick the box when a link earns you money.
- Up to two categories. A custom name is 2 to 30 characters.
- 30 posts a period, counted when a post first goes live.
Write one post, press Save, and read it on your phone. That is the fastest way to learn the editor.
